Medical Assistant/LPN (looking for 2)
Job description
Full-Time Clinical Staff position. Looking for LPN or CMA.
Job duties include-
Patient rooming- complete any necessary documents for appointments prior to patient arrival, takes vital signs, completes medication, medical, surgical and social history, assists provider with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments including EKG, ear irrigation, breathing treatments
Gives immunizations and other therapeutic medications
Responds to incoming patient calls and triages them accordingly, including but not limited to scheduling appointment and referral to urgent care or emergency room.
Receives incoming calls from outside facilities and appropriately relays stat results to providers for care coordination.
Relays diagnostic test results, provider recommendations, and medication changes to patients.
Completes refill requests for maintenance medications.
Completes orders/schedules for O2, Physical Therapy, Durable Medical Equipment, Home Health, and Infusion Therapy.
Hours are Monday-Friday 40 hours per week. Must be available 7am-6pm. One Saturday a month 7:30-12noon.
