Job Title Assistant Controller
Reports to Controller
Job Purpose Summary Support most aspects of accounting management and firm administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- General ledger entries as needed
- Assist with preparation of financial statements
- Month end closing procedures and bank reconciliation
- Collections
- Data entry
- General bookkeeping
- Payroll assistance
- Formatting reports
- Utilize internal and external software to manage day to day business
- General administrative tasks for office continuity
Personal Profile
- Results-oriented professional with a positive outlook and a commitment to quality.
- Organizational and planning skills with the ability to critically assess process and efficiencies.
- Ability to work independently or on a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
Personal Skills
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for computer skills, particularly Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and QuickBooks.
- Able to understand and perform general accounting tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
