Position Objective:
Além Werks is seeking is seeking an outgoing and service-minded events professional to fill the position of Event Concierge at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta. The Event Concierge provides supplemental support in the execution of Porsche Experience Center (PEC) events. This position works independently and as part of a team within the PEC, serving as an event host and day-of contact. This is an hourly, full-time position with a variable schedule, and will require early mornings and weekends as needed.
The PEC is a true car enthusiast playground designed to immerse groups and clients in all that is Porsche. From one‐on‐one instruction to off‐road courses to drive simulators, the PEC is a total reflection of Porsche’s past, present and future. The PEC offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary customer contact during event days
- Visual inspection of meeting room set-up to ensure accuracy per the event diagram
- Directs groups to their assigned meeting spaces or check-in areas
- Greets customers upon arrival and goes over the day’s schedule
- Communicates any desired updates or changes to the appropriate teams
- Assists the customer with basic AV connection and contacts IT for any additional assistance
- Liaises between customer, support teams (facilities, IT, Catering, Brand Ambassadors and Customer Experience Team) and events team
- Inspects catering set-ups and contacts the catering team for any missing items
- Escorts groups to the PEC desk for check-in
- Facilitates waiver signing and/or license checks for groups
- Assists with group rotations during busier event days (back-up only)
- Submits work order for business center repairs
- Creates post-event reports and checklists for day of events
- Responds to initial inquiries from PECATLInfo inbox and routes to the Events Team
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum two years of Hospitality/Meeting and Events Experience
Skills:
