Acara Solutions has an opening for a CNC Machinist in Livermore, CA
1st shift 6am to 2:15pm
Swing shift 2:15 pm to 10:45pm 15% differential
Set-up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools. (Lathes and/or Mills)
Use inspection tools to monitor dimensional accuracy.
Follow process procedures and maintain documentation.
Job Skills:
Must understand CNC machine processes.
Must understand G and M codes.
Must be able to interpret GD&T from drawings.
Vertical, Horizontal, 5-Axis Mills, 5-Axis Mill-Turn
Experience with Haas, Makino, Hermle and Nakamura Machine tools.
Familiar with Fanuc, Siemens, and Haas controllers.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a CNC production or job shop environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Mastercam (or other) programming experience is a plus
