Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our customers in Elma, NY. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Deburr, clean, or heat treat issues and stock parts.
- You'll have the opportunity to operate equipment outside your area of expertise, as necessary, although you're not to be an "expert" in all machine families (lathes, mills, grinders).
- Inspect all work performed, detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and deviating parts, and recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets.
- Positively contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of productivity, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.
- Maybe to support production within Assembly & Test or the Manufacturing Shop
Here's what you'll get:
- Pay $29.37 /Hour. Shift Difference.
- Hours:10-730am (3rd shift).
- Shift: Sunday- Thursday
- Training Shift: 1st shift
- Length: Temp to Perm (12 Months).

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Machine Shop setting
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Honing/lap/fitting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in using a Sunnen Honing Machine is helpful.
- Flat Lap machining experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Capable of continuous mental and visual attention on typically repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.
- Participate in planning work and resolving problems within the Cell using team skills.
