Description
Acara Solutions is seeking candidates with experience in a Logistics/Exports department with strong organization and computer skills to work with our client in Plainfield IN. This is an opportunity to grow in your career with a company who is a leader in healthcare and laboratory diagnostics. This position is primarily remote but MUST LIVE in the greater Indianapolis metro area and all equipment will be provided.
Position Description:
- Provide export documentation and logistics support to provide integrated export services to customer base.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to Order Entry, Order Tracking, Inventory Management, Coordination of Export Inspections, creation of export documents, and provide shipping instructions to Freight Forwarder.
- Reviews, enters and manages internal shipping memos for international and domestic customers.
- Supports account relationships to ensure timely delivery of products
- Acts as first level specialist for general support needs and may assist with technical support and/or problem resolution.
- May identify and initiate opportunities for process improvements and to grow the business.
- Process OEM orders for various OEM customers for international transport.
- Additional duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the business and changes in operation.
- Day shift: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
- Minimum pay rate: $24/hr range based on experience
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience
- HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience using SAP
- Logistics office experience with focus on shipping to international and domestic customers
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work remotely with limited supervision
- Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills
