Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing QC Inspector for our client manufacturing client located in Ronkonkoma, NY. This is a 6-Month contract project with a pay rate up to $34 / HR (DOE).

Job Summary : This is a temporary position for 6-months, responsible for inspecting incoming material and performing quality inspections on components.
Quality recording, tracking, and reporting the results of inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
Job Details :
- Duration : 6-Month contract project
- Pay Rate : $32 - 34 / HR (Depending on experience)
- Work Schedule : MO - FR from 7am - 3 : 30pm / EST
- Job Location : Ronkonkoma, NY
Work Responsibilities :
- Read and understand engineering documents to ensure incoming material is compliant.
- Perform inspections on manufactured and repaired products by the use of manual and automated measuring equipment.
- Keep accurate and up to date records on inspection failures.
- Perform First Article Inspections on products.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years in an electronics mfg field in QC role and reading technical drawings ie : metalwork, PCB assemblies, cables, components
- Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- 1 year interpreting quality standards and specs to evaluate products and soldering work skills
Preferred Skills / Qualifications :
- IPC-610-A and ISO experience
- Able to interpret procedures and determine if non-conformities exist
- ESD practice skills
