Classification: Exempt Reports to: Director E-Commerce Location: East Greenwich, HybridJob summary:Manage the day to day operations of the e-commerce site in partnership with cross-functional teams, including creative, merchandising, IT and marketing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities● Develop and execute site merchandising strategies, optimize navigation/sequencing, and manage inventory levels and product● Coordinate website maintenance and development efforts● Ensure overall content integration on website and visual experience execution● Liaise with Distribution Center on inventory, shipping, and fulfillment status updates● Assist in strategic creation of eCommerce roadmap that ties back to strong ROI● Ideate, strategize and project manage site enhancements, in coordination with dev agency teamIncludes building, prioritizing, and QAing tickets in Jira while managing timeline, resources, and budget for each dev project● Coordinate A/B testing roadmap and analysis with Dynamic Yield to inform site optimizations● Analyze quantitative and qualitative user behavior to inform and implement UX / UI enhancements● Drive the SEO marketing program through the analysis of existing content, competitive research, and identification of new opportunities. Collaborate with Paid Search to build synergies and efficiencies between channels.● Guide strategy and manage vendors creating optimized content for category and product detail pages, as well as long form content for blog and evergreen guides.● Recommend enhancements to site architecture, internal linking, content and other factors to improve organic positions of target keywords.● Interpret and react to site KPI’s to define opportunities to achieve performance goals● Monitor site for bugs and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve site content and product related issues● Oversee product set up from an SEO perspective and product life cycles owned by Merchandising team● Oversee promotion setup, testing, and E-commerce sign off● Aid in the development of content effectiveness strategy● Drive onsite analytics reporting● Identify automation opportunities and reduce internal process or system inefficiencies and undue risk● Research and recommend third party vendors and Shopify applications to solve business needs● Oversee 3rd party relationships with vendors that provide features and capabilities to support eCommerce initiatives● Manage and mentor direct reports● Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements● 4 years of related E-Commerce or related experience● BA/BS degree in related field● Advance in Microsoft Excel● Adobe / Google Analytics experience preferred ● Expert understanding of SEO best practices to clearly and effectively articulate complex ideas to a non-SEO audience. ● Self- starter with excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.● Results focused – sales and performance driven● Ability to organize, prioritize, and thrive in an extremely fast-paced, changing environment that requires flexibility and nimbleness● Analytical abilities regarding web performance and user experience This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
