Your dream role:
We are looking for an Inspector to manage and control the Quality process of vehicles in build at our Scarborough site. This is to ensure the high standard expected of ADL/ Plaxton product is met in a controlled and documented manner and to endorse and promote ADL’s core Vision & Values. The main responsibilities of the role will be:
- Follow agreed Quality Control Process.
- Ensure all defects are recorded and cleared by build stage.
- Maintain Quality Control Process Communication (white) Boards to include relevant SOP’s, critical care point and fault reduction/quality data.
- To fully understand the Quality Standard required for area of build.
- To understand build plan and ensure build moves/ delivery dates are met.
- To work with Production to ensure operatives understand the quality standards required.
- To train, educate & guild operators where quality standards are not met.
- To ensure all build and audit processes are complete prior to release of build stage or delivery of ‘F’ Note.
- Analyse data, develop & implement fault reduction processes.
- Achieve personal KPI’s set to measure fault reduction.
- Promote a 5 S culture and assist maintain safe working environment for yourself and other employees.
- Demonstrate pride & passion in delivering ADL/Plaxton product to Customers.
What you will bring:

- Understanding of Quality Standards and care points.
- Thorough understanding of Customer Focus and our Customers’ expectations.
