About the job
We are seeking a 6-month, contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to help provide full-cycle management of direct hire positions within our three product groups. Reporting to the Richmond HR Business Partner, you will be the point of contact with multiple hiring managers and source, screen, and hire at a high volume. This position is eligible to work remotely.
As a part of the team, you will:
- Consult with hiring managers on business needs and assist with defining criteria for ideal hires
- Create compelling and detailed job postings, and promote openings through social media and other channels (internal referrals, trade schools, etc.)
- Source for candidates within resume database tools and Workday ATS
- Disposition candidates within the ATS in accordance with OFCCP guidelines
- Coordinate virtual hiring fairs as needed
- Make recommendations and provide guidance during the interview process
- Serve as a main point-of-contact for applicants, setting and adhering to clear timeline expectations
- Create and extend offers to selected candidates
What you know
You have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of recruiting experience (ideally within a manufacturing or production environment), and:
- A proven grasp of applicant tracking systems; Workday a plus
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for the candidate experience
- The ability to quickly build consultative relationships with hiring managers and drive a timely hiring process
- 2 years of proactive sourcing experience
