What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Partner Marketing Manager (US East Remote) position at Algolia?
Algolia is part of a cadre of companies that are driving the next generation of software development. Companies like Algolia, Stripe, and Twilio are creating composable APIs that make developers’ lives easier; solutions that are better than building from scratch using AWS APIs and better than the old way of having to tweak monolithic SaaS solutions.
We need your help in telling our story to the world’s largest companies by helping with the creation of alliance marketing plans and related GTM strategies for key partnerships to drive Algolia’s revenue growth. In close collaboration with Partner Marketing, Sales, and Product teams, you will have accountability for a data-driven, partner marketing strategy backed by market research and buyer intelligence. You will define compelling joint value propositions with partners in alignment with Algolia’s priority markets and industries. You will build a best-in-class product partner marketing competency that accelerates growth in partner generated pipeline and revenue.
YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:
- Responsible for the management and execution of systems integrators partner marketing initiatives to drive pipeline and revenue growth through strategic partnerships with alliances like Acquia, Bounteous, Phase2, etc
- Collaborate effectively with the global alliances team and product marketing to manage the Algolia presence with our SIs, drive demand, and improve co-selling
- Drive joint marketing activities with SI partners and manage scope, timeline, and resources
- Proactively recommend engagement activities - reviewing all partner opportunities and assessing which make the most send for the story we are telling by partner
- Manage the logistics for multiple partner-specific initiatives including project plan, requirements, collateral, outcomes, and postmortems
- Develop comarketing MDF funded plans aligned with the Algolia Field marketing program
- Educate and inform SI partners of new campaigns, content, programs, events and Algolia product updates and launches
- Measure effectiveness of SI alliance activities. Align KPIs with global alliance team and sales, and strive toward transparent, data-driven insights for effective performance tracking.
YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- 3-6 years of total experience in technology product management or product marketing, out of which at least 2 years of experience must be focused on partner product marketing or partner marketing
- Exceptional project managements skills and the ability to balance multiple projects with considerable attention to detail
- Significant experience with technology platform company; experience with API-first technology will be considered a plus
- Experience working with technology products that have utilized channel to grow the business
- High degree of tolerance with ambiguity and ability to maneuver through multiple priorities in a fast growth entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrable experience with cross-functional stakeholders management; proven experience persuading both internal and external individuals on the value of a solution
- Experience in launching differentiated solutions
- Self-starter with high motivation level that can readily adapt to changing market and organizational priorities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Inspiring to work with because of a strong positive personality with a can-do attitude – fun to work with
