What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility maintenance position at ALH Building Systems?
We are seeking Maintenance personnel to join our team in Markle, IN, US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our drop deck trailers, flatbed trailers, tractors, and other vehicles.
They will also handle maintenance tasks related to production lines and the overall operation of the building. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Compensation : $20 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of the fleet of trailers, tractors, and other vehicles.
- Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs for the fleet, including managing external service providers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Manage and optimize maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies for maintenance activities.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance of production lines, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to address maintenance concerns or emergencies promptly.
- Establish and enforce maintenance procedures, processes, and policies to ensure consistent and high-quality work.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Maintenance personnel or similar role, preferably in a transportation or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques for trailers, tractors, vehicles, and production equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards related to maintenance operations.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address maintenance issues and emergencies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external service providers.
- Proficient computer skills.
