Junior Accountant
We are currently seeking an motivated individual to be our next Junior Accountant to join our team in our City of Industry, CA 91748 location.
About the Role:
The Junior Accountant will work closely with the accounting team to provide support general accounting needs such as AP/AR, journal entry preparations and monthly reconciliations.
What you’ll do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Pay invoices (verify transaction information, schedule and prepare disbursements, and obtain authorization of payments)
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts
- Work in collaboration with accounting team to ensure month-end and year-end closing by designated deadlines
- Review invoices and employee expense reimbursement reports to ensure compliance with policies
- Assist internal departments with any accounting issues

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Google Drive is required
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented, a team player, internet savvy, a proactive self-starter
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work effectively, and meet deadlines independently
- Exceptional time management skills and the capability to prioritize tasks accordingly

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
