Key Responsibilities:
- Value Stream Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analyses of specific value streams to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map current and future state value stream processes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and improve overall value stream efficiency.
- Production Planning:
- Work closely with production planning teams to ensure effective scheduling and resource allocation.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement strategies to meet or exceed production targets.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams within the value stream to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards and specifications.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in value stream management within a manufacturing, preferably aerospace, environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of aerospace machining processes and quality standards.
