Job Details
Responsible for providing evidenced based individual, family, and group counseling to Aliviane clients with mild to moderate depression, anxiety phobias, aggression, child abuse, self-harming, substance use disorder and any form of trauma they may have experienced either directly or in-directly and any other disorder indicated on the DSM-5. Provide intake, assessment and treatment planning for Aliviane clients. Work as a part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop treatment and service plans, provide integrated therapies, education, and case management services, monitor progress, and review and adjust plans based on client progress or lack of progress and formulate an effective treatment plan to help family fid their path to recovery. LPC will work in various programs and populations in the organization. Hours will vary to include evening and weekend hours.
Required Education and Work Experience

Master of Arts Degree or Master of Science in sociology, or psychology, and State licensed as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or ACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioner). Must have at least 2 years experience working with youth and their families.

Essential Functions
-
Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed for individuals with emotional, mental and complexly traumatized clients, caregivers, and all persons involved in the care of a client.

Conduct assessments and assist in data collection for the evaluation of clients, as needed.

Plan and coordinate clinical activities for traumatized children and their caretakers for clients with co-occurring disorders.

Function as a part of interdisciplinary team to conduct trauma informed interventions.

Develop trauma informed and education and training programs for stakeholder groups and the community as well as work with Counselors, Case Managers, Childcare Workers, Recovery Coaches and other integrated trauma informed services into the residential treatment program to develop any needed adaptations or modifications for interventions and intervention materials.

Inform the public about mental health and trauma to develop awareness and the prevention of trauma to a vulnerable population.

Collaborate with all required agencies, to develop training, modify the interventions, and write articles for publication if needed.

Participate in staff training, and development and implementation of the quality improvement process as it relates to therapy, assisting staff with arriving at solutions to client problems as they relate to trauma issues.

Responsible for maintaining the client charts in compliance with agency, state and any other rules and standards.

Perform all other duties as assigned or designated by Supervisory and Executive Staff.
