What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professional Dog Groomer position at All About Pets?
We are seeking a reliable passionate groomer to help us make these babies all beautiful for their owners. This commission-based job is Tuesday through Saturday! MUST be reliable and passionate about dogs!
Duties:
- Groom pets according to customer specifications and breed standards
- Bathe, brush, and style pets' fur
- Trim nails and clean ears
- Provide basic grooming services such as teeth brushing and anal gland expression
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Assist with pet sitting and kennel duties as needed
Experience:
-Commission Pay based on experience plus hourly
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and provide excellent service
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, as some pets may be large or require assistance during grooming
Transportation:
-You MUST have reliable transportation!
