Shifts Available:  Part Time to include nights and weekends

Pay: $18.50/hr.

Essex Meadows is seeking hospitality focused Utility Worker to join our team.   

Summary 

This position is responsible for several kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Stocks, stores, and rotates food/nonfood supplies.        
• Empties trash containers as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. 
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
