You will...
- Conduct on-site supervision and evaluation of staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Perform annual health assessments and nursing reassessments due to hospitalization/emergencies.
- Develop a plan of care for implementation, modifying as necessary based on the patient's needs or condition.
- Supervise field staff under appropriate contract requirements.
- Assess ongoing educational needs of staff and coordinate necessary training/In-service programs.
- Assist in developing QI indicators measuring the quality of care given every quarter to ensure quality service is provided, increasing business and revenues.
- Monitor patient clinical records for complete and accurate documentation and adherence to policy to ensure appropriate and quality service.
- Document on-site supervision and evaluation of professional and paraprofessional staff to ensure quality patient care and maintain performance standards to ensure adherence to agency policy and procedures.
- Serves as a member of the Quality Improvement/Utilization Review Committee and audits clinical records to identify patient care issues.
- Assure of twenty-four-hour on-call availability by a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree as required by state regulations.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience required.
- 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse required, preferably in an acute care setting.
