Position Overview: As our Assistant Manager, you'll be an integral part of our team, assisting the Manager in overseeing all aspects of café operations. From managing staff and ensuring exceptional customer service to driving sales and maintaining the cozy ambiance of our café, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate café staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a positive work environment.
- Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to ensure a memorable experience.
- Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Uphold quality standards in food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service.
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies for driving sales and maximizing profitability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Live within 30 miles of the location
- Justification for 2-3 months of unemployment if applicable
- Previous experience in a café, bakery, or hospitality environment, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Exceptional fast food experience considered.
- Passion for food and beverage service, with a strong understanding of café operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and staff.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Manage a $3 Million annual sales volume
