What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at All-Star Veterinary Clinic?
Associate Veterinarian – Superior Work/Life Balance, Gold Standard Medicine, Mentorship and Excellent Compensation
All-Star Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to assist us in our continual quest to provide our clients and patients with the best veterinary care and customer service experience possible. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of previous small animal veterinary experience and be proficient performing procedures such as dental cleanings and extractions as well as soft tissue and abdominal surgeries. Why should you keep reading? Here’s why: we offer an uncommon work schedule that focuses on your work/life balance, you’ll have access to state of the art diagnostics, we focus on formally mentoring all of our veterinarians and you’ll be competitively compensated for your efforts.
At All-Star we strive every day to do things differently and challenge the status quo. We do that by placing an extreme emphasis on client satisfaction, by making sure that our employees have a joyful and dynamic environment in which to work, and by doing everything we can to maximize the bond between our clients and their animal companions. Our mission is to make people’s lives better through the practice of veterinary medicine and we work toward that goal every day.
All-Star is located in Westfield, Indiana and was founded in 2003 by Dr. Emily King. Dr. King is a 1996 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Vols!) and has been a practicing veterinarian for over 20 years. All-Star currently employs 8 veterinarians and is exclusively a small animal practice. Our newly remodeled facility occupies approximately 9,900 square feet, has eight exam rooms, a two-table surgical suite, and two treatment areas. We even have a gym on site so you can work out and clear your mind.
Work/Life Balance
One of the perks that sets us apart from other veterinary clinics is our work schedule. We think that you should have a healthy balance between your personal and professional lives and as such, your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. with no weekend hours or emergencies. We strongly believe that when one has a healthy work/life balance the result is not only happier individuals but better veterinarians as well.
Superior Diagnostic Tools
We believe in offering our clients and patients the best veterinary medicine available. We’ll give you access to the best diagnostic tools currently available in order to allow you to practice medicine to the fullest extent possible. We offer digital radiography (dental and general), ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house Abaxis laboratory equipment, and top of the line anesthesia monitoring equipment. Your medicine shouldn’t be limited by the tools available to you so we’ll give you what you need to maximize your potential as a veterinarian.
Mentorship
At All-Star you will be given the freedom to learn and develop to your fullest potential both personally and professionally. We believe that we are not doing our job if our associates do not become better people and veterinary professionals during their time with us. We encourage all of our associates to pursue those niches that interest them and to build professional skill sets based upon those interests. At All-Star we’ll support your chosen path with flexible CE allowances and mentorship in order for you to fully develop those interests into a niche in your practice. There is no limit to what you can achieve here, both as a person and as a veterinarian.
Excellent Compensation
We know that you worked extremely hard to become a veterinarian and we believe that you should be professionally compensated for your efforts. While there is a correlation between experience and compensation, we believe that you’ll find that our packages are very generous and above average for the veterinary industry.
So, if you’re seeking an employment experience that offers an excellent work/life balance, the most up to date diagnostic tools, a formal mentorship program and an impressive compensation package, then you’ve come to the right place. To become the newest member of the All-Star team, contact Dr. Emily King at drking@all-starvet.com. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
