Technical Sourcer for All Turtles

We’re looking to hire a skilled Technical Sourcer to assist with sourcing and hiring technical talent for All Turtles and mmhmm, and potentially other products in All Turtles’ portfolio. In this role, you’ll source and interact with potential candidates online, develop talent pipelines, conduct initial candidate screenings, and partner with our recruiters to develop strategic sourcing strategies. As a Technical Sourcer at All Turtles, you’ll help grow and support the team of wonderful people that build our products.

As a Technical Sourcer at All Turtles, you'll have the autonomy to prioritize your workload in a globally distributed environment. Working both synchronously and asynchronously, you'll identify prospective talent that aligns to our most in-demand roles, including software engineers, product managers, security engineers, DevOps engineers, and data engineers. Within the recruitment process, you'll be responsible for sourcing talent based on the qualifications provided by the hiring team and the recruiter, prequalifying candidates as their first point of contact, and introducing candidates to the recruiter to start the interviewing process, ensuring a seamless handoff. You'll have the opportunity to shadow recruiters in the organization, lead intake meetings with hiring managers once comfortable, and grow into a full cycle recruiter.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Collecting insight and doing research on our market, competitors, and the recruiting landscape in order to better inform our sourcing strategy and practices.
• Sourcing passive talent using innovative tools and strategic sourcing strategies like SeekOut, GitHub, and Twitter. 
• Identifying passive candidates, and prequalifying them once they're activated.
• Coordinating with hiring managers and recruiters to determine position requirements.
• Interacting with potential candidates on professional networks and social media.
• Contacting industry partners for candidate referrals.
• Creating talent pipelines for current and future hires.
• Managing and identifying candidates within the company’s applicant tracking system.

IDEALLY, YOU'LL HAVE:

• Experience with both high volume recruitment and niche technical searches.
• 3 years experience sourcing technical roles within engineering (software engineering, security, product, and data engineering). 
• Mixture of in-house and agency sourcing experience.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse or Lever.
• In-depth experience with LinkedIn, SeekOut, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Twitter, and a variety of other technical sourcing tools.
• Experience building talent pipelines with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• An inquisitive mind with a strong desire to learn new things and improve existing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven ability to prioritize independently. All Turtles is distributed, and we all operate with autonomy and initiative.

The Technical Sourcer role is a full-time position reporting to the Technical Recruiter. This role can be based in any location globally. Since our distributed team works across the US and the EU, east coast time zone applicants are preferred.
