Award-winning, Medicare-certified Home Health Agency seeks Full-time Sales/Marketing Professionals (called Care Coordinators) with Medical Sales experience to increase our client base in assigned territory. Award-winning, Medicare-certified Home Health Agency seeks Full-time Sales/Marketing Professionals (called Care Coordinators) with Medical Sales experience to increase our client base in assigned territory. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with existing and prospective referral sources, such as physicians’ offices, clinics, hospitals, rehab facilities, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes
- Drive throughout assigned local territory to call on regular and prospective clients; distribute marketing materials to promote awareness of the services we offer
- Promotes the company in a positive, educational manner at health fairs, trade shows, charitable events, civic groups, support groups, and other community networking events
- Plan and host events at which you will present information and respond to questions from both healthcare professionals and the general public
- Meet with patients and/or their family members at their homes or in the hospital. Explain the benefits and differentiators of our Home Health Agency, and initiate the intake process
- Generate and maintain a high referral stream weekly through effective marketing techniques and strong follow-up skills
- Learn and understand the various disciplines of medical practice and the relevant benefits that our services can provide to their patients
- Drive throughout assigned local territory to call on regular and prospective clients; distribute marketing materials to promote awareness of the services we offer
QUALIFICATIONS
- COMPASSION for the elderly and a DESIRE TO HELP them and their families make the transition to receving home care.
- At least two years of outside healthcare sales/marketing experience and a track record of achieving established goals.
- Ability to manage your own schedule, which will include evenings and weekends as needed.
- Planning, organization, time-management, presentation, and interpersonal skills are all extremely important to the success of this position.
- Must be comfortable with cold-calling, networking, and making face-to-face presentations
- Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to interact with all levels of professional and non-professional staff, as well as patients and their families under difficult circumstances
- Track record of demonstrating initiative, good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
- Must have reliable transportation, auto insurance, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a Level II Criminal Background
