Now Hiring: Talent Engagement Specialist in Brooklyn, NY
POSITION SUMMARY
The Employee Engagement Specialist (EES) will facilitate effective staffing needs by developing relationships with HHA schools, association, etc. The EES will convey the company culture to employees, new hires, implement recognitions programs, develop communications tools and become the main point of contact with their recruits and local staff. The EES will assess the company’s hiring needs and speak with talented individuals to fill these needs. The EES will work in conjunction with branch leadership and recruiting, to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Connect and establish relationships with community organizations and HHA schools.
- Promotes company culture and helps establish the company as an employer of choice in the local market.
- Represent employees as an advocate.
- Organize and facilitate job fairs, meet & greets, webinars and presentations.
- Prepares recruitment materials and post jobs at local colleges and other community organizations.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of personnel records, ensuring they are always survey ready.
- Works collaboratively with recruitment, central support teams, and branch leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven work experience as organizing and facilitating recruitment events.
- Experience developing relationships with customers/clients and HHA schools.
- Ability to work in a team environment required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems preferred.
- Computer literacy required, including MS Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking (English/Spanish) a plus.
