Job Summary:
As a member of Allegis Group’s Corporate HR Shared Services team, the HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring I-9 and E-Verify compliance across all Allegis Group operating companies through reporting and training, while ensuring a high level of customer service to vendors, field offices, and other internal employees. The HR Compliance Specialist tracks and reports on HR Records and I-9 compliance in order to monitor service performance measurements.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Creates and distributes numerous I-9 and E-Verify compliance reports to the Operating Companies Field Support leadership.
- Utilizes the automated onboarding tool to generate queries in order to document the movement of employee personnel files through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Subject matter expert (SME) for I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
- Explain company personnel records processes and provides support of the I-9 Service Center and E-Verify program.
- Addresses technical issues and process questions related to the I-9 Service Center.
- Track non-compliance issues and escalate accordingly.
- Assist with communication efforts related to technology issues; ensures data integrity and overall quality assurance.
- Assists in the training of new HR Records Representatives and Compliance Specialists.
- Additional ad hoc requests as necessary.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required
- At least two years of administrative, customer service, or human resources experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
