What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Inventory Control Clerk position at Alleguard?
Position Summary
Inputs production and inventory data entry transactions into the company’s manufacturing accounting system; develops and implements document and transactional controls and procedures to insure accurate perpetual inventories for the assigned facility(ies). Assists in the conduct and recording of the company’s perpetual inventory practices (cycle/full physical).
Pay: $18 USD/hr
Responsibilities
- Completing weekly inventory counts.
- Sustain cycle count program.
- Organize and maintain Inventory levels.
- Montior consumable usage.
- Process receiving for plant.
- Work with purchasing on all consumable orders for warehouse.
- Generates/develops reports and/or user-defined inquiries as directed/requested for warehouse.
- Assists in the performance of root-cause analysis on significant inventory variances and works with the Plant / Production Managers to identify and implement the process changes required to eliminate them
- Performs inventory analysis
- Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
- Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
- Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
- Monitor and track waste from the warehouse.
- Notify in the event of non-compliance with legal requirements or situations of environmental risk.
- Position may require periods of physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity. Position requires sitting at desk or workstation for extended period of time.
- Position requires manual/digital dexterity to support data entry activity for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Must be proficient with computers and data entry. Experience with Microsoft office products required.
- Prefer forklift experience or the ability to be trained on forklift.
- Relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement at the discretion of the hiring manager. English proficiency required.
