What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Designer position at Alliance Material Handling, Inc.?

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer who will be responsible for providing efficient solutions and service to our customers while maintaining the highest levels of detail and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce Customer Layouts
- Meet with Salespeople and Project Managers to conceptualize solutions for the customer.
- Work within AutoCAD to provide accurate drawings to meet customer specifications.
- Site visits and measuring as needed.
- Adjust existing layouts from outside sources to ensure proper functionality.
- Create full installation drawing sets.
- Provide Material Counts and Specifications
- Create Bill of Material
- Specify proper equipment to ensure a safe solution.
- Apply for and obtain Permits as needed.
- Assist Manager/Sales Team as needed
Requirements
- AutoCAD
- Ability to work in Model and Paper Space.
- Ability to understand and manipulate XREFs.
- Excel and General Windows Programs Proficiency.
- 2 years of Warehouse Design experience with an emphasis in Pallet Rack
- Detail Oriented with ability to keep track of multiple plan revisions
- Critical Thinking & Reasoning
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for providing and implementing excellent solutions to our customers.
- Continued self-improvement
