Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with identified scope of work personnel to write proposals based on customer information, permits and pricing for stack testing projects.
  • Work with project managers and data quality analysts to write accurate reports for stack testing projects. Project manager and data quality analysts review data and provide summary information for completion of test report. Draft reports are then provided to the project manager or technical services manager for review prior to submittal to the clients.
  • Work with project managers and technical service coordinators and/or managers to write test plans for stack testing projects.
  • Prepare electronic reports using EPA’s Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT) and ECMPS.
  • Work with the Alliance CEMS Services (ACS) team to review customer specifications, develop scopes of work, pricing and proposals for CEMS installation projects.
  • Work with the ACS team on procedure development for project specific operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Work with the ACS team on general project and data flow.

Minimum Requirements:

Education – Must have High School Diploma. AS or BS degree preferred (Science and Engineering related fields ideal).

Experience – 5 years of experience as a Technical Services Writer and/or in Field Services.

Certifications – Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities –Proficient skill level of MS office suite with high proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook. Excellent verbal communication skills and professional appearance and behavior. Maintain positive attitude with ability to work well in groups. Ability to prioritize and multi-task while remaining focused on all tasks.

Physical Requirements – Must be able to meet the physical demands of a typical office environment (Sitting/standing and possible light lifting). Must be able to travel to other locations as required for training and work outside normal work hours to complete projects.
