Alliant Energy has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Analyst II to join the team in Madison, WI, Cedar Rapids. In this role you will assist in providing technical support for Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and other technical infrastructure used in Alliant Energy’s Generation Dispatch center. This position requires a high degree of adaptability, and a focus on meeting customer needs and continuous improvement in the systems supported.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are vital.

Job Responsibilities
- Model, check-out and commission Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) projects.
- Build and maintain SCADA one-line and tabular displays.
- Maintain real-time data interfaces.
- Maintain reliable operations of SCADA and other related systems.
- Improve quality and reliability SCADA data and related services.
- Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution in assigned area(s) of knowledge.
- Required to participate in an on-call support rotation.
- Occasional after hours and weekends are expected.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - in information technology or related area.
- Knowledge of OSI Monarch SCADA or other leading vendor SCADA application
- Knowledge and experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of concepts of information technology.
- Demonstrated ability to implement standard analysis, programming, and testing techniques.
- Ability to determine the use of appropriate current information processing technology, applies logical reasoning to moderately complex situations, and analyze problems of a moderately complex nature and derives workable solutions.
- Advanced ability to develop and maintain business applications using application development tools as defined.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
