Responsibilities:
In this role you will…
  • Gain In-depth knowledge of the insurance business through on-the-job development.
  • Proactively support the preparation of the Underwriting due diligence process.
  • Deliver effective and efficient Underwriting support for internal and external customers.
  • Proactively liaise with other functions to ensure timely and accurate policy administration.
  • Develop and maintain peer level relationships with producers and clients.
  • Develop through learning opportunities at the global AGCS Underwriting Academy.
  • Begin an exciting career with a leading global corporate insurance carrier.


To be successful in the role:
You will have…
  • Completed your university degree or post-graduate study;
  • 1-2 years prior experience gained through internships, academic projects or employment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain personal relationships with colleagues, peers, managers and customers;
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills as well as the ability to grasp and solve complex issues and present solutions to others effectively;
  • The ability to assess the impact of issues, proposed strategies and alternative solutions within the general business planning environment; and
  • Excellent computer skills including MS/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
