Responsibilities:
In this role you will…
- Gain In-depth knowledge of the insurance business through on-the-job development.
- Proactively support the preparation of the Underwriting due diligence process.
- Deliver effective and efficient Underwriting support for internal and external customers.
- Proactively liaise with other functions to ensure timely and accurate policy administration.
- Develop and maintain peer level relationships with producers and clients.
- Develop through learning opportunities at the global AGCS Underwriting Academy.
- Begin an exciting career with a leading global corporate insurance carrier.
To be successful in the role:
You will have…
- Completed your university degree or post-graduate study;
- 1-2 years prior experience gained through internships, academic projects or employment;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain personal relationships with colleagues, peers, managers and customers;
- Strong problem resolution and analytical skills as well as the ability to grasp and solve complex issues and present solutions to others effectively;
- The ability to assess the impact of issues, proposed strategies and alternative solutions within the general business planning environment; and
- Excellent computer skills including MS/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
