We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Medical Secretary Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm at our Gastrointestinal Associates of Rockland County office in New City, NY.
The Medical Secretary Job Responsibilities :
- Supports physician staff by representing physicians; screening and sorting mail, documents, and telephone calls;
- Scheduling patient appointments and arranging referrals;
- Obtaining authorizations
- Collecting co-pays
The Medical Secretary must have the following qualifications and experience :
- High School Diploma,
- 1-2 years of office Experience - General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Business Knowledge, Organization,
- Time Management, Customer Service, Verbal Communication, PC Proficiency, Reporting Skills
- P Secretary experience preferred
