Requirements
The HR Coordinator is an entry-level position within the HR team. This role will support day-to-day HR initiatives for assigned region(s). The HR Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all general HR questions. He/She will have exposure to all facets of HR, including but not limited to recruiting, administration of policies, benefits, basic employee relations, employee engagement, leave administration, and payroll processing. Building relationships with all departments and practices by resolving questions and communicating regularly and on time is essential to this role. This role will report to the Regional HR Generalist & Payroll Specialist while also interacting with the VP of HR on ad hoc projects.

- Own the onboarding experience for assigned region(s)
- Provide support with the completion of New Hire paperwork
- Partner with other members of the HR team to process the various practice payrolls, including ad hoc termination payrolls
- Recruiting assistance for the practices within the dedicated region (job description creation, sourcing, offer letter creation, etc)
- Conduct benefit analysis during new acquisitions and present findings to HR leadership
- Monitors PTO balances for compliance and usage policies of assigned region(s)
- Ensures compliance with Form I-9 and periodically audits I-9s at designated practices
- Identify ways to maximize the utilization of talent
- Assist with the development and delivery of programs that drive employee engagement
- Reviews and analyzes people-related data for assigned region(s), presents results, and recommends opportunities that positively influence organizational behaviors and outcomes
- Regularly audits and assesses employee data to ensure accuracy
- Assists HR leadership with employee relations issues by coaching, counseling, and guiding managers
- Monitors HR inbox and responds to inquiries promptly
- Assists with unemployment claims, wage garnishments, and workers comp claims
- Assists with annual compliance report filings
- Supports the administration of company-wide surveys
- Supports HR processing of personnel actions for assigned employee groups, including compensation changes, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, terminations, etc
- Provide a consultative approach to internal stakeholders
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Great cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- A proactive and self-driven attitude toward accomplishing your goals
- The ability to show leadership and influence people of equal rank to achieve business goals
- Experience with working in a matrixed environment
- Multi-state HR expertise, preferably within highly compliant states (CA, NY, OR, IL)
- M&A or Private Equity experience preferred
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Experience utilizing Paylocity
- HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or another applicable field is preferred
- 1-3 years of HR experience
- Proficient with advanced Excel functionality for usage with large data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with demonstrated teamwork and vendor management skills
- Experience in a deadline-oriented, multi-task environment
- Proven ability to interact with all levels of management and other staff
