Parts Clerk/Warehouse Staff - Sun Valley, CA

Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and television studios and is looking for a Full Time Parts Clerk / Warehouse Staff to join our Sun Valley Fleet Service team! This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, delivery, and pick-up duties for the facility. The ideal candidate must be safety minded with exceptional customer service skills.

Warehouse responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Accurately and efficiently pull and stage material orders from paperwork, in an organized manner
• Work with technicians in the check-out and check-in process of warehouse items
• Receive items from vendors and add items to the correct warehouse location
• Create stock checks and short lists to maintain accurate inventory counts
• Communicate customer/technician requests, order changes, and/ or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with employees, suppliers, customers
• Assist in general housekeeping of warehouse and display area
• Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (forklift) to load, unload, or put away equipment
• Load and unload trucks following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques
• Always maintain a clean work area
• Complete all tasks in a safe manner
• All other duties as assigned

Driver responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Delivery and pick-up of material for warehouse stock and custom order items for trailers
• Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (forklift) to load, unload, or put away equipment
• Load and unload trucks and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques
• Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork
• Read and comprehend road maps
• Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery of equipment to the warehouse Immediately report any issues/problems with vehicles to a member of the management team Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
• Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times Follow all state and DOT regulations
• All other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Ideally in a warehouse or driver role.
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier
• Experience operating material handling equipment
• Possess exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures
• Ability to provide a pro-active approach to project completion and warehouse needs
• Ability to anticipate needs and multi- task in a high-volume environment
• Must be reliable, professional and possess good judgment
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and effective, clear communication skills
• Must be well organized and detail orientated
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is between $17 - $19/hr.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
