As a Retail Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
Responsibilities :
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements :
- Driving Position : must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.*
- Must be able to display exceptional customer service and communication skills*
- Must have intermediate computer skills*
- Must be able to work outdoors in the elements*
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time*
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the training requirements and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification through the company.
