Recruiting Specialist

The mission of this full-time position is to source, recruit, interview and hire qualified Financial Advisors to continue to grow the Allied Wealth Partners TEAM. Works directly with the “Senior Director of Recruiting”.

Allied Wealth Partners is a team of highly motivated individuals committed to the financial health and well-being of our clients and characterized by superb quality and service. For almost 50 years we have offered our clients a comprehensive line of products and services including financial planning, business succession, employee benefits and estate planning. Allied Wealth Partners has offices throughout the Tri-State area including Long Island, Manhattan, Connecticut, and multiple offices in New Jersey.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Source qualified experienced, inexperienced and career changer candidates using online platforms, including LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed and through referrals.
• Screen, interview and manage candidate pipeline
• Develop and manage relationships with local Universities and alumni organizations to attract new talent
• Administer and supervise new advisor hiring through licensing process

Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.

• Passion for growing the Allied Wealth Partners TEAM and an interest in the Financial Services Industry.
• Knowledge of Allied Wealth Partners and what’s important as a team member.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Ability to effectively evaluate potential candidates
• Self-starter, motivated, goal oriented

Computer Equipment and Software:

Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:

• Word
• Excel
• Outlook
• Internet (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, job boards, etc.)

Proficiency in the use of office equipment:

• Computer
• Voice messaging systems
• Fax
• Photo copier

Working Conditions:

• Professional office environment.
• Availability to work outside of a standard work week.
• Flexibility for travel- around 10% of the year

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years of recruiting experience (preferred)
