$1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with patients and their families to manage patient scheduling and appointments, including insurance issues if needed.
Coordinate referral appointments, coordinate with patients and other parties for accurate and effective scheduling.
Provide patients with referrals to other care providers, as indicated by the current care provider as needed for a holistic and effective healthcare.
Manage incoming referrals, setting appointments, sending reminders, and provide patients with referral information.
Maintain patient records, including updates on record entry for each patient.
Work closely with patients and their insurance provider to gather and provide accurate information.
Work with insurance providers to verify patient coverage, enrollment information, and procedures covered by the patients’ insurance.
Work with patients and insurance providers to get accurate information regarding copay amounts and billing information.
Respond to patient queries regarding insurance and provider details, as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
2 to 3 years experience as a Referral Coordinator or any comparable work experience
1 to 2 years experience working with healthcare insurance
Experience in customer service is highly preferred
At least an associate degree is highly preferred
High School graduates with exception experience
Able to work in Sacramento, CA
Authorized to work in the US
Able to speak Spanish fluently is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
