Job Posting for Equity Research Analyst at Allspring Global Investments, LLC
The Allspring Focused Global Equity team is looking for an equity research analyst to join its team. The team manages over $3 billion in Global assets, and is based in New York City and Nassau, Bahamas. Every analyst on the team operates as a sector generalist.
Minimum of two years' experience working in accounting or finance industries.
An academic background in accounting, finance, or economics.
The person should be interested in and passionate about global equity markets, with a strong intellectual curiosity and ability to look for and evaluate non-consensus ideas.
Ability to multi-task, handle heavy workloads, and achieve project deadlines accountably, while working efficiently and effectively with all team members.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to participate in group discussions; prior presentation experience is a plus but not required.
Strong financial modelling, accounting, valuation, and analytical skills.
Advanced level of proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, write/modify vba scripts). Aptitude to create complex, yet understandable financial models for use by senior analysts.
Gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, company documents, regulatory filings, industry publications, trade shows, and online data services.
Ability to comprehend and create charts, diagrams, tables, and other data visualizations.
Applicants with an accounting background preferred but NOT required, i.e. CPA, ACCA qualification.
Progress toward a CFA certification preferred but NOT required
