Investments Data & Reporting Analyst
Allspring Global Investments is seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst with strong knowledge of performance and portfolio characteristics data for producing a broad range client-facing and collateral reporting, including fund factsheets and commentaries. You will be part of a seasoned data distribution team with a hands on role collaborating across portfolio management, product, marketing, legal and technology groups. Key responsibilities will include:
Collecting, validating and delivering data for internal and external distribution and funds reporting
Our processes are semi- automated; you will need to understand the different data feeds and how these are integrated
Creating reporting and dashboards using Crystal Reports or other tools, including ad-hoc requests for portfolio and benchmark holdings, characteristics, performance, and attribution
Leveraging FactSet, Lipper, Morningstar Direct and Bloomberg to support ad hoc requests
Serving as a subject matter expert on Allspring’s reporting footprint, key data sources, timing, methodologies and usage across channels
Ensuring consistent usage and dissemination of reporting data across Allspring
Continuous improvements to current processes and reducing reliance on excel spreadsheets for critical sales support and client facing materials
Maintaining and updating processes and procedures
Providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications
A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
7 years working in data roles for asset managers
Knowledge of financial markets and products both in the US and Offshore
Previous experience of working with performance data, attribution and asset allocation
Experience in report development using Crystal Reports or other similar tool
Competency with Microsoft Excel, relational databases and SQL queries
