Job Summary
Alluvionic is seeking an experienced EVMS Government Program Scheduler to support a program of national security and defense.
Employment type can be either W2 or 1099.
What you will do
- Analyze the existing Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to verify it accurately reflects all contractual tasks and deadlines as defined by the program’s Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated contractual documentation.
- Address customer comments related to the IMS and resolve any schedule deficiencies attributed to the comments.
- Analyze DCMA 14-point assessment reports and address schedule deficiencies attributed to any errors.
- Understand program status reporting structure and support communication activity. This involves status of all tasks from the last report date to the current report date.
- Create planning packages for contract deliverables with “as needed” delivery requirements.
- Provide recommendations leveraging best practices for the optimization of IMS processes including:
- Weekly and monthly tracking
- Methods for soliciting and recording weekly status from the team
- Methods for providing the right level of granularity within the IMS
- Re-baselining
- Tracking of critical path through a 5-year sustainment contract
- Methods for reporting project health to management
- Establishing WBS to the appropriate 3rd level for time charting
- Facilitating in the development of procedural documents and tools to capture and communicate schedule risk
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master's degree required in technical or business management-related field.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Must have 2-4 years of project scheduler experience.
- DCMA 14-point assessments
- Experience with Federal Government contracts
- MS Project or Primavera
- PMP certification desired
- MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Project Server.
- Emotional Intelligence and excellent communication skills.
- 10-15% travel to client site.
