This combination of unimpeachable standards and innovative thinking separates ALM in the market and fuels our unprecedented growth.   Responsibilities:   The Executive Consultant will engage with the leadership of law firms and legal departments to facilitate their meaningful participation with ALM's Information Services offerings. You will lead and play an active role in all aspects of the client experience, collaborating with peers across ALM's editorial, intelligence, GLL, and events teams. In this consultative role, you will regularly communicate with both legal department & law firm leaders to understand the customer's business, challenges, and goals. Additional responsibilities will involve serving as the internal client advocate to ensure timely and positive client outcomes while collecting and disseminating information to our business leaders for product improvements and use cases that lead to greater client loyalty. Additionally, you will understand the client's broader organizational strategy and assist in optimizing their existing subscriptions and advocating for additional products to ensure best practice adoption. This role will closely align with Enterprise Sales Representatives, and handoff qualified opportunities for revenue growth.   Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience working with both law firm and legal department leadership, an exceptional understanding of law firm and legal department operations, and strong relationships with client leadership, as well as an impressive academic background.   Qualifications:  7 years' work experience at NLJ 350 or larger law firms &/or Fortune 500 legal departments, top-tier legal consultancy, or legal services company working with professional services/law firms/corporate counsel or in combination with business strategy roles Bachelor's Degree in related field with a solid record of academic achievement, MBA or JD preferred In-depth understanding of the legal market, including law firm and legal department strategy, the competitive landscape of the legal profession, and thorough knowledge of the business of law An extensive network of consultant, law firm, and legal department leadership contacts Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent planning and project management skills Entrepreneurial spirit A self-starter who can work with limited direct supervision   ALM's compensation package is competitive, and critical contributors have rapid advancement opportunities available.
