What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Associate position at alm?
ALM is looking for a HR Associate who is pro-active, a self-starter who demonstrates dependability, sense of urgency, and prioritization abilities with completing tasks/projects and is excellent at problem solving. The HR Associate is responsible for partnering on a variety of HR initiatives including HRIS system and ATS maintenance, recruiting, on-boarding, HR administrative and data collection/changes and reporting. Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple, complex requests while ensuring accuracy.
Key Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Assist with employee questions related to HR and see issues through resolution
Full cycle recruitment, post job ads, screen candidates and scheduling interviews, assist the HR team with the hiring process and onboarding
Collaborate with our ALM committee to ensure a fair ALM integration into the hiring process
Evaluates, analyzes, and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems and ATS
Assist with the performance review/salary increase process by not only providing system support but also working closely with HR Team and Finance to ensure all changes are processed accurately
Ensure State and Federal documents (I-9’s, W-4, etc.) are present and comply with applicable laws in addition to meeting company’s policy and procedure requirements
Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
Responsible for changes to personnel records in a timely manner
Liaises with HR Team and payroll partners to ensure accurate changes, employment data or status is updated for payroll processing
Work with team on various HR initiatives
Support HR team to reach common goals as needed
Qualifications:
BA degree, a minimum 4 years of college or equivalent work experience
Experience with HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce preferred)
Experience using recruiting applications (Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), professional social networks (LinkedIn, etc.) and other methods for recruitment
Strong computer skills including G-Suite, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
