Job Description
Senior Art Director, Graphic Designer
Summary
The Senior Art Director will report to the Creative Director, providing creative services to various departments, to support sales, and marketing initiatives while setting an example for best practices within the team. The perfect candidate will be a highly organized individual, experienced in interdepartmental coordination and communication with an innovative eye for modern creative design to elevate our content creation strategy. This is a pure design and creation position; this person will be responsible for graphic and content creation and should have packaging design experience. Someone that is successful in this position will have a modern look and feel to their design work, utilize modern fonts, and be knowledgeable in current design trends. This is going to be someone who knows how to display the look and feel of luxury of high-end products. They know how to make the equipment look glamorous. Their design work will have an editorial feel to it. This person's body of work will blur the lines between photography and graphic design.

- Graphic Design using Adobe products for both print and digital spaces
- Project management
- Video editing experience preferred but not required
- Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content, both print and digital, on time and within budget
- Translating creative needs and branding strategies into design strategies
- Design and create custom brand design, logos, interactive materials, brochures, websites, emails, advertising, postcards, social graphics for product, event, and sales campaigns
- Auditing and updating existing graphic materials to align with brand guidelines and trademarks/registration
- Developing/maintaining current branding guides with the Product Marketing team
- Collaborate with marketing management on visual content for social media
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent flow of content for social media that is consistent with Marketing objectives and standards
- Create information graphics and charts as needed to visualize data
- Presentation design and clean-up for executive team or as needed
- Research and stay current in marketing and design trends
- Video editing and updates internally, provide creative direction when they are assigned to vendors
- Develop or apply brand standard templates to support marketing efforts
- Stay up to date with current design trends to bring best-in-class design to the team—both conceptually and through new technologies or platforms
- Manage design resources, maintain file naming structure and organization of design files
- Project Management: responsible for leading and managing all creative deliverables to ensure they are developed, reviewed, approved, and distributed by agreed-upon deadlines
- Maintain Alma’s Digital Asset Library for customers, ensuring all relevant materials are up-to-date and readily available

Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
- Min 5 years of experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and printers. Dress is business casual.

Travel
This position requires 5% travel as needed to learn the business.
