The right candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, community building, and event production. You also have experience producing and running high-quality events for scaling online and micro-communities.

As the Community Events Manager, you will play a crucial part in achieving our mission to bring high quality mental health care to everyone in need. You will be responsible for building out a digital and in-person events strategy that fosters deep connections, creates intimacy, and scales with our expanding membership. This role is essential in supporting our members to combat isolation & burn-out and gain confidence in private practice. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Community Engagement.

What you’ll do:

  • In close partnership with Sr Mgr Community, build out our digital and in-person events strategy using a data & insights-driven approach
  • Create the playbook to scale community events, increase engagement, and drive repeat attendance
  • Own Alma’s event operations and support other Community programs (education and training) that require event coordination and support
  • Build processes and systems to execute on our events strategy seamlessly meeting budget and deadline constraints
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to thoughtfully bring programs to market and drive adoption
  • Measure the success of your programs through a KPI-driven approach, iterate accordingly, and report findings to relevant stakeholders

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of experience strategizing and producing high-quality digital and in-person events from concept to planning, production, execution, and retrospective
  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities - this means you can make your way comfortably around a google sheet and synthesize insights from the data
  • Experience using event tech programs like Splash and Bevy
  • Strong background in developing compelling and unique event content
  • Passionate about connecting people and creating meaningful moments
  • Highly enthusiastic and independent - able to effectively handle ambiguous problems and challenges and drive initiatives with minimal input
  • A deep passion for our mission and the future of mental health

Benefits:
