What are the responsibilities and job description for the HSE Specialist position at Almac Group?
Almac Group is currently seeking a HSE Specialist for our Souderton, PA location. The HSE Specialist will support multiple business units in providing a safe and healthy work environment through development and implementation of coordinated HSE initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establish and maintain professional associations with site & business unit specific management groups to support the implementation of HSE initiatives.
- Manage routine and non-routine HSE risk assessments to evaluate effectiveness of existing HSE arrangements and requirement for additional controls.
- Develop and support strategies to promote HSE awareness throughout North American operations.
- Support routine and non-routine tasks relating to site specific compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- HS Degree / GED
- 5 years practical HSE experience with HS Degree / GED
- 2 years HSE experience with Bachelor of Science Degree
- 29 cfr 1910
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Bachelor of Science Degree – Related Curriculum
- 8 years HSE experience with HS Degree / GED
- 5 years HSE experience with Bachelor of Science Degree
- Pharmaceutical / GMP background
