What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Supervisor position at ALMAC Group?
Almac is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for our Durham, NC location. The Quality Control Supervisor will supervise inspection activities and perform Quality Control (QC) functions within Incoming Goods, Production, Label Control, and Distribution to ensure operational compliance to cGMPs, Almac SOPs, and other written quality and customer standards.
1st Shift 7:30am-4pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates the activities of QC Inspectors within the Incoming Goods, Production, JTM, Label Control, and Distribution areas. Routinely monitors performance of QC activities in these areas.
- Interacts with Quality, Operations, and Project Services personnel at any Almac site to report, address, and resolve quality issues.
- Assists in hiring, training, and developing QC staff in order to properly administer Almac Clinical Services' operational techniques and activities for Quality Control.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years' experience in GMP manufacturing, packaging, and/or quality assurance/control
Preferred:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree with science background
- Previous supervisory experience
- Personnel and GMP training experience
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
