Cultivate accounts with existing customers to sell ALMO Professional Audio Visual solutions and services. Manage the accounts in assigned territory, maximizing and growing revenues. Majority of time spent on strategic account management focusing on the growth of essentials and services, 10-15% of time spend developing new account relationships.
Three levels of Account Manager are differentiated by prior industry experience, frequency of travel, technical/industry certifications.

What you will do in this role:
New Account Development
- Use targeted prospecting and leads from manufacturers to find new potential sales opportunities that would be a good fit for the ProAV business
- Build rapport with regional field staff of Almo vendor partners to develop new and maintain our market share with our customers.
- Communicate value proposition of Almo ProAV as a partner to build company reputation and showcase saleable features of various product lines.
Account Management
- Obtain information about projects from the customer, manage the Opportunity from start to finish, quoting price and credit terms and preparing sales order.
- Develop and Maintain strong relationships with current account base and grow existing business.
- Work closely with BDM staff to create demand for Almo services and essential product offerings.
- Work closely with Registration desk to retain and grow sales volume that is governed by special pricing agreements with our vendor partners.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular customers to solicit orders, building strong rapport with customers, understand their objectives and develop long -term relationships.
- Coordinate customer training, work with Inside Sales to keep account activities and literature updated and investigate and resolve customer product issues .
- Work efficiently and effectively with internal resources to appropriately support our customers .
What we look for in a candidate:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven track record of being customer-centric and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Ability to network within a customer organization to identify all key influencers and decision makers
- Able to manage long and short sales cycles
- Ability to multi-task and exceed customer expectations and responsiveness
- Sound analysis and critical decision making skills
