What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern, Drug Product position at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals?
Overview
The Process Sciences summer intern will report to a director. The co-op will play a key role in a drug product formulation and process development project pertaining to the formulation and characterization of Alnylam's drug product. The role will involve hands on laboratory work, experimental design, data analysis, intern report and participation in cross-functional meetings.
Learning Outcomes
- Design of experiment on development of stable formulation on duplex siRNA
- Explore intrathecal and intravitreal formulation on duplex siRNA
- Design of experiment on development of robust process on duplex siRNA
Qualifications
- Degree related to chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years of age prior to scheduled start date
