Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or autism
- Offer emotional support to clients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment
Skills:
-No pre requisite skills needed
-Experience working with individuals with autism is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Ability to perform first aid in emergency situations
- Proficient in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
