Job Description
We are looking for an efficient Property Manager to manage the daily operations of properties, advertise vacant properties, and handle tenant relations. The Property Manager's responsibilities include managing financial matters, coordinating maintenance work, enforcing leases, and preparing performance reports.
To be successful as a Property Manager you should be able to ensure efficient daily operations and meet financial objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding Property Manager should be able to increase property value and satisfy tenant requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties (600 Units)
- Design business plans for assigned properties that suit customers’ needs
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Manage maintenance and office staff
- Stay in compliance with Housing Authority code
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Oversee lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Oversee advertisements and market vacant spaces to attract tenants
- Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses
- Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data and trends
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
- Experience in Tax Credit or HUD Properties preferred
Skills
- Proven work experience as property manager
- Working knowledge of property regulations
- Experience with Rent Manager software preferred
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Customer focus and bottom line orientation
- Strong management skill to manage 10 employees
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- BS degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
