About the Gig:
Bring your professional skills to work with you and help us enable our clients to execute world-class events. The position requires leaders who want to win, be a part of a winning team, and have high standards of performance. In this role, you’ll work with new prospects in the live event, artist, and brand space to introduce and get them excited about Aloompa. You will be responsible for selling prospects on our unique value proposition and solution, and evangelizing our solution to ensure that the broader market understands how we are changing the way event apps are done.
You Will:
Engage with warm leads to help prospective clients learn more about our product.
Identify and contact prospective clients to facilitate new business.
Use a CRM system to update and maintain leads.
Develop your own sales forecasts.
Close new business against an annual revenue target.
You Bring:
- 4 years of experience in music or related industry business development or sales.
- Previous experience in live events, marketing, ticketing, and/or technology services, and a keen understanding of the players and politics of the live events space is a plus.
- Top-notch communication and organization skills.
- Familiarity with and ability to negotiate commercial agreements.
- Strong Rolodex at leadership and decision-maker level in music, events, or brands.
- A strong work ethic and sense of ownership.
- Self-motivated self-starter.
- Ability to network effectively and derive tangible value from conferences and trade shows.
- Team player with a flexible and collaborative attitude.
- Familiarity with current web and mobile technology.
- Firm understanding of how to identify target customers, buyer interest, and win deals.
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
