Construction Supervisor

Job Title: Field Supervisor - New Install

Alpha Omega Construction Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Supervisor - New Install to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of subcontracted labor crews engaged in new installation of shingle roofs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign daily new roofing installation jobs to approved subcontractors.
• Recognize the strengths and weaknesses of upwards of 50 crews to determine best fit for each installation.
• Perform a daily walk-through of assigned subdivisions, inspecting for both quality and safety.
• Maintain constant communication with builders providing updates of any and all changes.
• Work closely with scheduling department and warehouse to monitor material usage for accuracy (e.g. shingle shortages).
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Serve as liaison between crews and builder with regard to daily installs.
• Enforce safety regulations and remain abreast of OSHA regulations specific to industry.
• Source and recruit labor crews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people.
• Thorough understanding of shingle roofing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2-5 years of experience in construction industry required.
• 2 years of roofing experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus and preferred.
